The virtual ACARS system adds exiting new features to the FS world! It is a close-to-real communication system between your aircraft and the airline ground control, demanding you, as the pilot, to operate preflight, inflight and postflight procedures in
exactly the same way as it is used by major airlines.
The aircraft equipment and ACARS interface are as true to the original systems as possible, the system even logs all data recorded from the Aircraft Condition Monitoring System
(ACMS), to be reviewed after the flight in the flight logging system: Actual takeoff and landing weights, cruise levels and speeds, fuel consumption and so on. All menus, buttons and functions have been designed in the most accurate way, to fully correspond to the real system. Installing an ACARS system from Virtual Datalink Systems truly brings your flight session closer to real flight.
The Virtual Datalink System is compatible with FSACARS virtual airlines.

VDLS
job in the virtual aviation world is to provide the virtual pilots with an accurate simulation
of how airline air to ground communication is handled in the real world. In real world aviation the the
datalink service is provided by ArInc or SITA, along with a few other companies.
VDLS is trying to offer the same services as these firms, to truly bring the virtual aviation closer
to real flight.
